Castello Sequence

THE WORKOUT
4-6 (6 x :30 = 3:00 ON, 1:00 RI)

  • Repeat set 4-6 times

  • Six exercises each sequence

  • Each exercise :30 = 3:00

  • Recovery = 1:00

Every round alternates standing and ground work. Add upper weights per your strength & skill level. Do each exercise slow and deliberate, technique not speed. DO NOT SKIP THIS: getting up and down off the ground fast is part of the workout too. No lounging, no crawling, no lazy transitions. Pop up quick or you're leaving reps on the table.

WARM UP
Give yourself 5 minutes to warm up before round one. Light cardio to get the heart rate up, plus a few bodyweight squats and arm circles to open things up. Skipping this isn't tough, it's just dumb, cold muscles don't perform.

COOL DOWN
When you're done, don't just collapse. Take 5 minutes to cool down: walk it out, breathe, stretch through the hips, hamstrings, and shoulders. This is where the flexibility side of Strengthability actually happens.

THE LOCATION
Aci Castello, perched on a black lava rock jutting straight into the Ionian Sea. The Norman castle was built in 1076 by the Normans upon the foundations of a 7th-century Byzantine fortification. The rock was once its own island before lava flows connected it to the mainland. Its exact origins are a bit murky, but it played a real role in the region during the Middle Ages. Squats with nearly a thousand years of history staring back at you. Not a bad way to build some Strengthability.

Sicilian Strengthability

Strength meets flexibility across Sicily's most iconic backdrops. Each volume is six exercises, thirty seconds each, alternating standing and ground work, three minutes on, one minute off, four to six rounds through. Squats, presses, lunges, and core work, filmed on lava rock, castle ruins, and coastline you won't find in a studio.

This isn't just a workout series. It's a tour. Every location has a story, and every round leaves you a little stronger and a little more flexible than when you started. Getting up and down off the ground fast is part of the work too, no lounging, no crawling, no lazy transitions. New volumes added as we shoot them. Come for a sample workout from Sicily. And yes, Bolt supervises every single one.
