ABOUT
Pilates
Pilates is a form of exercise and body conditioning developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, mostly as a method of injury recovery for dancers. Some of the principles that guide the Pilates method include concentration on each movement, use of the abdomen and low back muscles, flowing, precise movement patterns and controlled breathing. Routines can be performed on specially designed apparatuses, including a bed-like structure called a reformer, or more simply on a mat. The benefits are both therapeutic and preventive. The practice may help you recover from an existing injury or manage a chronic musculoskeletal issue. It may also help you establish a healthy baseline, so that when those injuries or issues arise, you’re able to bounce back faster.
Gyrotonic®
A unique movement experience that blends fluidity, strength, and total freedom of motion.
Created in the 1980s by Hungarian dancer Juliu Horvath, Gyrotonic® fuses the best of yoga, dance, tai chi, and gymnastics to offer a dynamic, three-dimensional workout that feels natural and harmonious.
Through specialized equipment and circular, flowing movements, it helps improve posture, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness, while releasing tension and stiffness.
Perfect for everyone—whether you're a beginner, a professional athlete, or an expecting mother—Gyrotonic® strengthens the body in a gentle, safe, and effective way, enhancing breathing, balance, and overall well-being.
Today, it’s embraced worldwide by those looking for a deeper, innovative approach to movement.
Move better. Feel stronger. Live in harmony with your body.
Gyrokinesis®
The Gyrokinesis® Method addresses the entire body, opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, increasing range of motion and creating functional strength through rhythmic, flowing movement sequences. It is an original and unique method that coordinates movement, breath and mental focus. It is practiced on a mat and chair without equipment. Without the feedback and guidance of equipment, participants in a Gyrokinesis® class are more dependent on their own proprioception to explore movement sequences.

Chiara
Born and raised in Sicily, I have always had a deep passion for movement, developed through years of sports practice—especially rhythmic gymnastics, which I have been teaching for over 20 years as an FGI-certified coach.
In 2008, I discovered Pilates and became a certified Covatech® trainer in 2012. Fascinated by its effectiveness, I expanded my training with the GYROTONIC® Method (since 2014) and GYROKINESIS® (since 2017), which have completed my holistic understanding of the body and its movement.
My approach integrates these complementary disciplines to offer tailored, effective programs—helping clients move better, gain body awareness, and live with greater freedom and well-being.
I hold degrees in Political Science, International Relations, and European Studies from the University of Catania (2004).
